Jujutsu Society

The Jujutsu Society of Japan are one of the oldest organizations dedicated to the study of the field of sorcery and curses. Formed during the Heian era, a Golden Age of sorcery, in an effort to bring an end to the chaos that had erupted due to unmitigated and unregulated use of jujutsu at the time. While they were successful in this, it lead to an age of secrecy for the society, moving the publics knowledge away.

They worked in secret, training up promising candidates to work against lingering curses and those who wished to abuse such power.

The society is headed by three main clans, who wield powerful inherited techniques with ancient bloodlines leading back to some primordial beings of unfathomable power. Their power has waned over the years, if only politically to a grand scale. This had lead to a number of aspiring curse users to break away and form their own splinter groups. Some of which are eventually brought back to the fold, with others being lost forever.

Jujutsu High School -

Early on, a need to train sorcerers proficient in jujutsu became apparent and so two schools were founded. Students are brought in from across the country to learn under experienced sorcerers.
